Position Description : The Business Development Manager - Google for Education ("Manager" hereafter) contributes to the client's mission by expanding the digital transformation of education efforts across Vietnam's public and private schools. The Manager achieves this by identifying and developing relationships with schools interested in receiving and integrating Google Workspace for Education's tools in their classrooms. The Manager will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Google for Education team in Singapore, and with a small support team.
Key Activities :
- The Manager has the following key activities and duties :
- Identifying and cultivating potential private and public school clients in Vietnam to integrate and utilize Google Workspace for Education's tools.
- Providing initial onboarding support to clients to ensure successful implementation, and on-going support as and when needed.
- Conducting retrospectives with client schools and producing client outcome reports to share with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging this data to inform what expansion of Google Workspace for Education can look like in Vietnam.
- Negotiating and managing key relationships with a diverse set of non-school partners, including but not limited to device resellers, system integrators, and professional development experts, to facilitate the entire digital transformation of the education project ecosystem.
- Processing and running key administrative activities that come with developing and expanding Google
Workspace for Education in Vietnam, with support of administrative team members.
Managing a small team of part-time and / or full-time team members to deliver on the above.Knowledge, Competencies and Experiences :
The Manager is preferred, but not required, to have the following background and experience. We are open to candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience (minimum 3 years) in consumer goods, education, education technology, strategic operations, technology, social impact enterprises, or related fields. Masters of Business Administration is a plus.Experience working in a bilingual environment, where English and Vietnamese language is used. Candidate has demonstrated strong written and verbal professional communication skills in both languages.Experience working in active, collaborative, and diverse environments (where diverse represents both modes of thinking and individual backgrounds).Experience with creating, managing, and implementing projects.
