Seeking a dynamic in-house Legal Counsel to drive financial regulatory compliance and strategic contract negotiations in the Fintech space. You will shape risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory advisory while collaborating with cross-functional teams for business growth.

As a Legal Counsel in a Fintech company :

Legal Advisory : Provide strategic legal counsel on financial regulations, corporate governance, intellectual property, IT, and data protection.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal policies.

Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate various legal agreements, including brokerage, custody, licensing, NDAs, and MOUs.

Dispute Resolution : Handle client disputes, liaise with external counsel, and oversee litigation, settlement negotiations, and risk mitigation.

Regulatory Updates : Advise on current and upcoming laws, consultation papers, and technology-related compliance matters.

Transaction Documentation : Ensure contracts align with company policies and address key legal risks.

Project & Secretarial Support : Assist with corporate secretarial duties and manage ad-hoc commercial projects.

Requirements :

• Qualified lawyer with min 2 years PQE
• Knowledge of Singapore financial services regulatory framework
• Knowledge of commercial and technology legal matters
• Interests in developing fintech environment
