Roles & Responsibilities
About the Role
Join our cross-functional engineering team to design and develop cutting-edge robotic surgical systems. You’ll lead the design, integration, and testing of electrical components—controllers, actuators, sensors, and PCBs—ensuring high performance and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
You will design, develop, and test electrical / electronic systems at various levels (system to component).
- Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts using Altium, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Perform simulation, analysis, and reviews of analogue, digital, and power circuits.
- Troubleshoot and conduct type testing (EMC / EMI, RE) for compliance and reliability.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for system integration.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory standards (e.g., IEC / IPC) and user requirements.
- Support product lifecycle from concept through manufacturing.
- Mentor junior engineers and maintain documentation (DHF).
Requirements
You will need min Bachelor’s / Master’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
3+ years’ experience in electrical system design, preferably in medical / robotic devices.Strong in embedded systems, mixed-signal circuit design, and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UART).Proficient in PCB Designer (Altium, Cadence, etc).Hands-on with EMC / EMI testing and issue resolution.Familiarity with IEC / IPC standards and risk management in medical devices.Ability to understand mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.R1332781
