About the Role
We are looking for an experienced engineer to support and scale systematic operations infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of portfolio management, technology, and operational excellence. You will work directly with investment teams to build reliable, automated, and risk-reducing systems for strategy monitoring, trade workflows, and post-trade operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable platforms for trading strategy monitoring, reporting, and operational workflows
- Implement automation to reduce manual intervention across trade lifecycle processes
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to enhance reliability and risk mitigation
- Streamline development, deployment, and alerting infrastructure to ensure platform stability
- Provide operational support for mission-critical systematic trading systems
Technical Qualifications
High proficiency in hands-on development experience in Python6+ years of experience with CI / CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, or ArgoCDStrong experience working in Linux / Unix environmentsSolid SQL knowledge; experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databasesAbility to gather and translate portfolio management requirements into technical solutionsPreferred Skills and Experience
Experience supporting low-latency, high-availability trading systemsFamiliarity with electronic trading and financial market structures (equities, futures, FX)Knowledge of distributed system design; backend experience in Java, C++, Go, Scala, or C#Experience with Apache Kafka (Confluent or standard)Proven ability to automate software development lifecycle (SDLC) pipelinesExposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)Experience working within notable cloud infrastructure providers technologiesContributions to open-source projects is a plus
