Robotics Automation Centre of Excellence (RACE) is an independent training academy powered PBA group (https : / / www.pbarobotics.com / ).
RACE provide training for adults and is committed to the education and promotion of robotics, automation and digital manufacturing technologies.
RACE is expanding our Industry 4.0 and robotics and automation training to young learners through our dedicated kids’ education arm of RACE, called RACE Juniors.
RACE Junior provides coding and robotics programmes for young learners ages 6 to 16 years old. To ensure programmes are fun and engaging, we integrate STEM into the activities that are curated by us.
As our RACE Juniors embark on the coding and robotics learning journey, they get to explore the world of robotics, taking them a step towards the future.
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate coding and robotics classes for young learners ages 6 to 16 years old
- Follow RACE’s framework for class facilitation
- Facilitate both online synchronous learning and offline face-to-face classroom learning
- Assist in classroom and freelance trainer scheduling as well as resource planning.
- Monitor and track the progress of young learners and provide support to young learners
- Provide regular feedback to parents on the progress of the young learners
- Ensure equipment and other hardware is not damaged and accounted for after each offline face-to-face classroom learning
- Conduct, engage and interact young learners with RACE Junior’s lesson plans
- Maintain a conducive learning environment by demonstrating good classroom management
- Deliver training in an enthusiastic, motivational training style
- Support and develop training curriculum and all training related resources based on learning objectives
- Perform administrative duties as required or assigned
- Track students’ attendance and progress, housekeeping and any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities
