Job Description

The Exercise Trainer will be responsible for conducting fitness programmes for seniors under NTUC Health's Active Ageing Services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

1. Conducting fitness classes

Conduct fitness programmes for seniors
Receive training on new fitness programmes that will be introduced regularly
Conduct pre- and post-programme assessments for clients
Attend to walk-in customers
Maintain a safe, hygienic and conducive environment
Maintain client records and mark attendance in the system

2. Admin and others

Participate in marketing / promotional activities to promote NTUC Health's active ageing services

Maintain inventory of equipment used for exercise programmes

Participate in team meetings and other operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

Technical / Professional :

WSQ Certificate / Advance Certificate in Therapy Services, or Certificate or Diploma in related Sports, fitness training or related fields

At least 2 years of experience conducting fitness classes

General :

Lively personality with engaging communication skills

Comfortable with change and new programmes

First aid certified

Experience working with elderly clients
