As a Programme Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and executing a portfolio of projects within the insurance sector, with a focus on claims, contract center, and policy administration. Your role will involve leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within scope.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to drive project success and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and metrics to track progress and performance against goals.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, with a focus on maximizing ROI and controlling costs.
- Implement best practices, methodologies, and governance frameworks to optimize project management processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication, alignment, and resolution of issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the insurance sector, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and strategic initiatives.
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in programme management, with a focus on the insurance industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end projects, with specific experience in claims, contract center, and policy administration.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets of around 10 million USD
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
