Roles & Responsibilities
Workforce Singapore (WSG) will be engaging community-based organisations that support senior Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) in their later-stage careers. Through deeper relationships, capability-building initiatives, and improved linkages to resources and opportunities, we aim to help these groups better encourage and enable senior PMETs to achieve their aspirations and thrive in their later-stage careers.
As Senior Manager , you will be a key driver in engaging, supporting, and connecting community groups that work with senior PMETs. You will work closely with WSG’s leadership to shape engagement strategies, design activities that strengthen community capabilities, and facilitate initiatives that encourage senior PMETs to explore and pursue later-stage career aspirations and opportunities. You will be building trust, fostering collaboration, and enabling peer support structures that help senior PMETs leverage their experience, skills, and networks for continued career success. You will be part of a larger team that develops innovative means of supporting senior PMET employment.

Strategy & Programme Design
- Contribute to the development of WSG’s community engagement strategy for career and transition support for senior PMETs.
- Co-create initiatives with community partners that inspire and enable senior PMETs to pursue later-stage careers.
- Incorporate insights on human behaviour and motivation into programme design to improve engagement and outcomes.
Community Development & Relationship Management
Source for and engage community-based groups or commercial providers that are able to support senior PMETs.Build long-term, trust-based relationships with community leaders, coordinators and, where relevant, community members.Work with community partners to design and implement peer support programmes that foster confidence, networking, and career exploration among senior PMETs.Resource & Opportunity Linkages
Curate, develop, and share relevant, up-to-date resources that help community partners better serve senior PMETs.Work with internal and external teams to link community partners to suitable resource providers and work opportunitiesImplementation & Continuous Improvement
Work with marketing team to design and implement outreach campaigns to drive awareness and participationManage procurement, vendors and other administrative processesGather feedback and collect profile stories to refine community engagement approaches and improve programme impactTracking, data analysis and evaluation of outcomes and impactRequirements
Relevant experience in areas such as community engagement, volunteer management, business development, partnerships and project / programme managementStrong relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders in both formal and informal settingsAdaptable, quick-thinking, and able to manage last minute or unexpected changesStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.Clear written and verbal communication skills for engaging internal stakeholders, community partners, and senior management.Familiarity with the senior PMET employment landscape or community development ecosystem in Singapore.A genuine interest in career longevity and enabling senior PMETs to continue contributing their expertiseTell employers what skills you have
