Grace Orchard School caters to students who have been diagnosed with Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) and those with Mild Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The school is specifically for students ranging from 7-18 years old who have Intellectual Quotient (IQ) which falls within the range of 50-70. The school is a non- profit organisation under Presbyterian Community Social Services (PCS).
Job Description:
- Carry out lessons as planned by the class teacher (teaching package provided)
- Monitor and maintain the discipline of the class that you are teaching
- Help ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment for students
- Assist students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments and projects
Requirements:
- Minimum 'A’ level/Diploma
- Passion in teaching pupils with special needs
- Those with relevant experience but without the necessary qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
