Roles & Responsibilities

Working Location : Jurong Island

Working Hours : Mon - Fri, 8am - 4.30pm

Company Transport : Near Jurong East MRT Station

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain accurate records of spare parts in the store.
  • Oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of materials in line with company procedures.
  • Conduct stock checks, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reordering of critical spares.
  • Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory, recommending disposal or reuse.
  • Continuously improve inventory management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with annual stock take requirements.

2. Store Operations & Housekeeping

  • Supervise daily store operations, ensuring proper organization, labeling, and safe storage of materials.
  • Implement handling and preservation practices for sensitive spares (e.g., bearings, electrical / electronic parts).
  • Maintain 5S standards, housekeeping, and safety compliance.
  • Ensure accurate documentation (Goods Receipt, Issue Slips, Return Notes, Gate Passes).

    • 3. Coordination & Support

  • Work closely with the Maintenance team to ensure spare parts availability for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Vendors for delivery and warranty claims.
  • Support shutdown / turnaround activities by staging required spares in advance.

    • 4. Systems & Reporting

  • Manage ERP systems (GSAP / ZOHO / others) for all inventory transactions.
  • Generate stock consumption, KPI, and variance reports.
  • Track and control spare parts cost to ensure budget compliance.

    • 5. Leadership & Supervision (Supervisor Role)

  • Supervise store personnel and contractors, ensuring work discipline and compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance on inventory control and safe material handling.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.

    • Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or ITE in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in maintenance stores, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of spare parts for rotating equipment, instrumentation, and electrical systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation and reporting accuracy.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling; forklift license is a plus.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
