Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and schedule daily delivery routes for company drivers, optimizing efficiency while meeting customer and operational requirements.
  • Ensure all food deliveries adhere to the stipulated time frames and food safety standards set by SFA.
  • Anticipate and resolve logistical challenges, including traffic conditions, parking restrictions, and access limitations at customer venues (e.g., condominiums, function rooms).
  • Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to align food preparation times with delivery schedules.
  • Monitor real-time delivery progress and make adjustments as needed to avoid delays.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance route planning, reduce delays, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the management team to cultivate a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture.
  • Identify potential team members (e.g., drivers or logistics staff) with strong performance and leadership qualities for further training and grooming.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to management on improving team productivity and morale.

Job Requirements :

  • Possesses a valid class 3 driving licence.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics scheduling, route planning, or catering / food delivery operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore road networks, traffic patterns, and parking restrictions.
  • Familiarity with SFA food safety regulations related to food delivery and consumption timelines.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on the spot when delays or access issues arise.
  • Effective communicator, able to coordinate with both drivers and internal teams.
  • Positive mindset with the ability to build rapport and motivate staff.
  • Keen eye for identifying and developing talent within the logistics / delivery team.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of responsibility and commitment to food safety and service quality.
