Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented QA / QC Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in maintaining food safety systems, conducting QC checks, training production staff, and assisting in audit preparation. This role is ideal for candidates who are organized, proactive, and committed to upholding food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform roles under ISO22000 framework. Maintain and update food safety certification systems and records (ISO22000, MUIS Halal, BizSafe, SFA SAFE Framework).
- Preparation for audits to ensure compliance.
- Provide training to production team members on food safety procedures and hygiene standards.
- Liaise with maintenance vendors to ensure facility and equipment upkeep.
- Oversee production schedules to meet output and quality targets.
- Conduct QA / QC checks on raw materials and finished goods (including cooking and tasting).
- Handle online sales processes, including order management and product listings.
- Coordinate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and documentation.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications :
Minimum : ITE Certificate in Food Science, Food Technology, or related fields.
Preferred : Polytechnic Diploma in :
Food Science & Technology
Applied Food Science
Experience :
1-2 years of experience in QA / QC within the food industry, including internships.Experience supporting audits (SFA, ISO22000, Halal) and conducting daily QC checks.Knowledge & Skills :
Strong attention to detaisl with effective communication skills.Able to work independently and in multicultural teams.Willingness to work overtime during audits or busy production periods.Why Join Us?
