Position Summary : The
Project Manager (Electrical) is responsible for overseeing the full
lifecycle of electrical projects, including planning, coordination,
execution, and delivery. This role involves managing stakeholders,
leading electrician teams, and ensuring compliance with quality,
safety, and performance standards. The Project Manager plays a
strategic and client-facing role, particularly for large-scale or
mission-critical projects such as data centers, construction, and
infrastructure.
Key
Responsibilities : Lead
and manage the delivery of electrical projects, including Design
& Build, consultancy, and mission-critical facilities (e.g.,
data centers).
Act as the key liaison for
clients, consultants, and contractors-ensuring expectations are
clearly communicated and met.
Chair project
meetings, coordinate across disciplines, and drive the timely
achievement of project milestones.
Oversee all
project phases including concept, design, execution, testing, and
commissioning.
Ensure adherence to budget,
project timelines, and technical standards.
Review and approve key design submissions, reports, and
deliverables.
Manage project documentation,
variation orders, change management, and compliance with local
authorities.
Mentor and supervise engineering
teams, promoting leadership, accountability, and high-quality
output.
Support business development
activities such as proposals, bids, and strategic
planning.
Requirements :
Degree in Electrical Engineering or
equivalent.
8-12 years of experience in
project management of electrical systems, including at least 2-3
years in a consultancy or client-facing role.
Proven track record in managing large-scale
infrastructure or data center projects.
Strong
leadership, communication, and stakeholder management
skills.
Familiar with relevant codes and
standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, SS, NFPA).
