Roles & Responsibilities
Scope :
Your primary focus will be on the Business Requirements and Functional Solution aspects of the project. In this role, you will be working on a range of tasks including the following :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams including architects, developers, DevOps, data analyst, and vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs, technical feasibility, and compliance requirements.
- Lead stakeholder engagement to understand user journeys, operational requirements, and business pain points, translating these into strategic business cases and detailed solution requirements.
- Define and manage user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria, maintaining traceability aligned with business objectives.
- Define and oversee authentication, authorization, and security requirements to ensure system integrity and compliance with security policies.
- Lead requirements for data ingestion, batch processing, integration, and analytics, ensuring reliable, timely, and high-quality data flow across systems.
- Facilitate CI / CD pipeline support, server maintenance coordination, and timely vulnerability patching in partnership with infrastructure and DevOps teams to maintain system stability and security.
- Oversee planning and coordination of testing activities including user acceptance testing (UAT) and system testing to validate that solutions meet acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate change requests, analyze business and technical impact, prioritize with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison and communicator across business, technical, vendor, and support teams to manage expectations, risks, and governance throughout project and operational lifecycles.
Requirements :
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information / Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 5 years of working experience as IT ConsultantParticipated in full software or product development cycles, preferably using AgileProven experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning and design, and testingStrong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skillsConsulting or Business Analysis experienceBusiness Analysis certification (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®), Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®)) is a plusExposure to cloud environments (PEGA Cloud, AWS, Azure)Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholdersAdvantageous to have 1 of the following :
a) Experience or proven track record of leading data and video analytics projects, particularly involving platforms like SAS Viya, SenseTime, or similar advanced analytics and AI / video analytics tools.
b) Experience in using Open Government Products such as FORMSG, Plumber, Postman and Microsoft Excel tool and formulas (vlookup, sort, pivot table)
c) Experience in design and develop enterprise-grade PEGA applications using App Studio for low-code development, rapid prototyping and Dev Studio for advanced rule creation, integration and configuration. Experience in building case types, work flows, UI, data pages, decision tables and data transforms is a plus.
