Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely receipt, storage and issuance of spare parts.
  • Prepare and pack spare parts for dispatch, ensuring safe and accurate delivery.
  • Coordinate with Logistics and execute dispatch activities in line with operational requirements.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of spare parts to minimise damage and risk.
  • Assist in quarterly and annual stocktake of all spare parts and maintain accurate inventory records. Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the test laboratory.
  • Conducting tests for customers’ products according to the testing procedures and standards.
  • Provide technical assistance in preventive maintenance and minor repairs of laboratory equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and uphold cleanliness standards in the test laboratory.
  • Ensure office storerooms are kept clean and organised.
  • Support general office maintenance activities, including replacing lighting, handling minor electrical or facility-related repairs.

Requirements

  • Nitec / Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of electrical systems will be an advantage.
  • Customer-oriented with positive working attitude.
  • Hands-on experience in packing, labelling and coordinating shipments for both local and overseas dispatch.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with colleagues, customers and vendors.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
