Edify : Math & Science is a premium tuition centre known for small classes, clear pedagogy, and strong outcomes. We’re expanding into Primary English and are seeking passionate ex-MOE educators to build a high-quality programme for P3–P6, including PSLE prep.
Role Overview
You will teach Primary English classes (P3–P6), design high-quality learning materials, and prepare students for the PSLE using engaging, student-centred pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons covering Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension (Cloze / Open-ended), Situational & Continuous Writing, and Oral Communication.
- Design and curate resources : lesson slides, worksheets, model answers / marking guides, writing frames, comprehension passages, and oral practice rubrics.
- Build term plans and assessment schedules; set and mark classwork / homework and mini-tests.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Use data (classwork, quizzes, mock papers) to differentiate instruction and track progress.
- Contribute to PSLE masterclasses, mock exams, and revision workshops.
Must-Have Requirements
Ex-MOE teacher with PSLE English marking experience (Paper 1 and / or Paper 2).Proven teaching experience in Singapore schools (Primary level).Strong resource creation skills (schemes of work, worksheets, model answers, writing scaffolds).Engaging pedagogy : active learning, explicit instruction, worked examples, formative assessment.Up-to-date with MOE Primary English syllabus and PSLE exam trends.Good to Have
Experience mentoring weaker writers and stretching high-ability learners.Strong classroom management and parent communication.Familiarity with literacy frameworks (e.g., PEEL / TEEL for writing, close reading strategies).What We Offer
