Roles & Responsibilities

The Producer intern will assist with pre- production, production and post production. He / she requires strong interpersonal skills and possesses a high level of responsibility, be great with contributors, highly motivated, editorially strong and able to work quickly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is interested in creating food content and understanding our audience. He / she should also be passionate about building a foodie community through content and how to grow an online channel.

Job Responsibilities :

To be involved in projects for nOm during the pre-production, production and post-production processes.
Conduct online and offline research in for story and concept pitching
Assist with scheduling and logistics planning for shoots
Assist with scriptwriting, transcribing and writing edit scripts
Assist with wrangling and archiving matters
Meeting and liaising with stakeholders to discuss and understand their requirements.

Job Requirements :

Organised and possess good time management

Independent and self-motivated worker

Bonus if you have past production experience

Good team player with strong interpersonal skills

Good visualisation skills

Ability to multitask

Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills with a strong command of written and spoken

Learning Outcomes :

Production Process Proficiency - Gain hands-on experience in all stages of video production, including pre-production, production, and post-production, developing a comprehensive understanding of the production workflow.

Research and Conceptualization Skills - Enhance research capabilities by conducting online and offline research for story and concept pitching, fostering skills in identifying engaging content ideas and understanding audience preferences.

Logistics and Planning Competence - Develop strong organizational and time management skills by assisting in scheduling, logistics planning for shoots, and contributing to efficient project execution.

Content Creation and Communication - Hone scriptwriting, transcribing, and edit script writing abilities, while also improving communication skills through regular interaction with stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and translating them into compelling content.

Community Building and Online Growth - Acquire a deep understanding of building a community through content creation, specifically in the foodie niche, and grasp strategies for growing an online channel, aligning passion with practical skills for effective audience engagement.
