Roles & Responsibilities
Full stack Operation & Maintenance
As a member of the operation and maintenance team, work to ensure the stable operation of
customer's internal systems and the bank development servers.
Coordinate with vendors on maintenance contracts for HW and SW and renew them as
appropriate.
Provide idea to Team Head relating to improvement of operation and maintenance, and
efficiency.
Submit applications such as account creation, Firewall settings to customer Head Office in Japan
and arrange tasks with them.
Share requests information from the customer Head Office with members as liaison between the
customer Head Office and the customer Singapore Branch.
Ensure that the system configuration complies with the customer's security guidelines at the
time of audit.
Analyse functional requirements and reflect changes to the system following the established
guidelines.
Work with the team leader to ensure that the system configuration conforms to design
standards and that the design meets functional and system requirements.
Handle day-to-day user queries (server, network, PC, user account) properly.
For system troubles, take recovery action (workaround), investigate errors, and consider
measures for improvement.
Produce and maintain up-to-date system documentation (System runbook, IT Inventory list, ID
management list, System parameter sheet).
Identify system issues and work to improve the system.
Create operation and maintenance procedure manual for knowledge transfer to members.
Keep management document the latest version.
Japanese language skills due to contact with Japan HQ
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience in building Windows server systems (from server kitting, application
installation to handing over the environment to the development team).
Operation and maintenance of VMware (vCenter, ESXi)
Operation and maintenance of infrastructure tools (Backup, Monitoring, Anti-Virus, Job
management etc) as Tier2 and Tier3 level
Understanding Microsoft 365 (Forms, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Office)
Experience in Network configuration (ACL, Firewall)
Basic Programming skills (Any of the following - Power shell, Shell Script, VBS / VBA, Python)
Knowledge of ITIL
Experience in building Linux, Unix OS server systems
Experience in Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience in Database (Oracle, SQL Server, etc)
Application Development using Power Apps
Knowledge of IT Service Management
