Role Summary
As a Programme Manager, your primary responsibility is to support business units to make use of technology to reduce cost, increase profitability, improve efficiency and streamline processes.
You should be technically inclined and be the bridge between the application development teams, the IT infrastructure teams as well as the operations users, facilitating the coordination and collaboration between these parties to ensure the successful delivery of BU projects
What You’ll Do :
- Manage all aspects of projects and programmes assigned throughout its lifecycle and in line with Programme Management Office’s policies and standards, and ensure application software and solutions are delivered within scope, budget, schedule, and of good quality.
- Manage projects and programmes consistently, holistically, and effectively to realise intended benefits and business value.
- Work in collaboration with vendors and stakeholders at a detailed level to conceptualise, design, develop, test, and deliver secure application software and solutions that are effective in addressing business needs and requirements, and are complaint.
- Proactive in managing project, programme, and its operational risks and issues, and willing to challenge the status quo for continuous improvement.
- Represent system owners in technological matters as system custodians and work with technical partners and stakeholders to ensure system remains robust, resilient, and compliant.
- Work in partnership with business units on Ops-Tech integration and other technological initiatives to address business needs and operational challenges.
- Contribute and provide technical support and expertise on projects, programmes, and other technical matters when consulted.
What You’ll Bring :
Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.At least 3 to 6 years of experience in application development, preferably with coding knowledge / experience.Familiarity with project management methodology and software development lifecycle would be an advantage.Familiarity with web and mobile programming and mark-up languages preferred.Good working knowledge and hands on experience in one or more IT technical domains would be an advantage – coding, database, network, system administration, cybersecurity, hardware, Cloud computing, and applied artificial intelligence (AI).Good troubleshooting skills in diagnosing technical issues and ability to offer advice, support, and solutions.Tell employers what skills you have
