PositionAvailable : Project Officer

We arelooking for a Project Officer to assist in an RNA biology andcancer epigenetics project. The role will focus on performing avariety of cell and molecular biology, transcriptomics and genomicsexperiments including molecular cloning, PCR, western blotting,nucleic acids isolation, lentiviral production and transduction,chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and next generation sequencinglibrary preparation. Additionally, the candidate will assist insome administrative duties such as procurement, inventorymonitoring and equipmentmaintenance.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Design andexecute experiments using standard cell and molecular biologytechniques.
  • Analyze data from experiments suchas western blotting, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), andmolecular cloning.
  • Assist in administrativetasks including procurement, inventory monitoring, safety / riskassessment and equipment maintenance.
  • Organizeand document experimental procedures and data in the laboratorylogbook.
  • Support lab inventory management andorganization.

JobRequirements :

  • A Bachelor'sdegree with Honors in life sciences, biochemistry, cancer biology,molecular biology, or a related field.
  • At least2 years of relevant experience in a research laboratorysetting.
  • Proficiency in mammalian tissueculture, lentiviral stable cell line generation, molecular cloning,western blotting, and ChIP.
  • Competency in dataanalysis software such as PRISM andImageJ.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to workindependently.
  • Excellent written and oralcommunication skills.
