Software Quality Engineer

Job descriptionDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance testing. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium ) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter ). Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python , or similar. Experience with issue management and CI tools such as Jenkins, JIRA , or equivalent. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Knowledge of cloud-based testing tools and security testing methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title : Software Quality Engineer
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, test data, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software products.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and entry / exit criteria for testing phases.
- Perform system testing, including functional and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and testing tools.
- Review and analyze test results, identify defects and anomalies, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve testing practices, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
