Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, operators, and buyers across global markets.
- Source and market tonnage, buyers, and vessels across various sectors (e.g., tankers, bulk carriers, containers, offshore, etc.).
- Negotiate terms and manage all stages of the sale and purchase process, including MOA drafting, inspections, delivery, and post-fixture follow-up.
- Monitor market trends, vessel values, and opportunities to provide clients with timely market intelligence and advice.
- Liaise with legal, technical, and financial professionals to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deals, vessels, and client interactions.
- Contribute to the team’s commercial objectives and support overall business growth.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as an S&P Shipbroker (or in a related commercial shipping role).Strong understanding of the global shipping industry, vessel types, and S&P transaction procedures.Proven track record in business development and closing successful deals.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.Tell employers what skills you have
