Group Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Group Accountant to manage the financial operations and reporting of our multi-entity organisation. This role covers group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, and internal controls. You will work closely with Operations, Centre Leaders, and HQ functions to align financial planning with business needs and ensure strong financial governance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and monthly management reports with variance analysis and dashboards.
• Lead statutory reporting, annual audit, and tax compliance (corporate tax, GST, and other filings).
• Support annual budgeting and regular forecasting across the group.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures across entities.
• Provide cash flow monitoring and treasury support to ensure effective liquidity management.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff to ensure deliverables are met.
• Act as key contact for auditors, tax agents, and other regulatory stakeholders.
• Participate in ad hoc projects such as system upgrades, financing, and business initiatives.
