Senior Principal Research Scientist (Quantum SensingTechnology)

TL@NTU is seeking a Senior Principal Research Scientist to

lead a to lead the Centre for Quantum Sensing Technology (CQST).

The successful candidate will drive innovative research projects,

mentor junior researchers, and contribute to advancing TL@NTU's

strategic research goals.

Key

Responsibilities :

Define strategic R&D priorities and collaborate with

TL researchers to shape and guide research directions.

Manage the research unit's financial and resource

planning to sustain long-term expertise and operational

excellence.

Provide oversight and guidance on

the transition of research outcomes

Lead

technically and support the development of Research Directors,

Programme Managers, and group members through

mentorship.

Job

Requirements : PhD in

Physics, Computer Science Engineering or Quantum related area with

20 years' experience in the field.

Experienced

in managing a technical department or research center.

Strong analytical, transdisciplinary and systems

thinking, as well as influencing skills. Insightful, visionary and

agile.

Innovative and proactive in identifying

research opportunities.
