Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accounts Executive to manage the accounts of a listed company and its subsidiaries. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical accounting skills, hands-on experience with full sets of accounts, and proficiency in Sage accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full sets of accounts (AR, AP, GL, and Analysis) for a listed company and its group subsidiaries.
• Handle month-end and year-end closings, prepare journal entries, and maintain monthly account schedules.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses in accordance with accounting standards.
• Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and bank reconciliations to ensure effective liquidity control.
• Manage creditors and debtors, ensuring timely billing, payments, and collections.
• Prepare and submit tax filings, GST, and other statutory reports accurately and on time.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary during audits and compliance reviews.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial and accounting functions.
• Support management in budgeting, financial analysis, and internal control improvements.
• Perform other ad hoc finance and accounting duties as assigned.
