Roles & Responsibilities
Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities :
- Budget tracking on quantities for main materials (e.g. rebars, tiles).
- Measurement, payment response, and evaluation of VO for the subcontractor.
- . Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity
requirements.
. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contractsto ensure the best deals.
. Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, andsubcontractors.
. Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment,and other documents.
. Advising managers and clients on improvements and newstrategies.
. Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.. Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships withexternal and internal stakeholders.
Quantity Surveyor Requirements :
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil & StructuralMinimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Construction industry.. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.. Sound knowledge of construction.. Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.. Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.Tell employers what skills you have
