Job description :
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Relations & Service
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating to ensure efficient service flow.
- Provide accurate wait-time estimates and keep guests informed while waiting.
- Escort guests to tables and ensure they are comfortable before service begins.
- Assist with menu guidance, answer basic questions, and direct guests to servers or bar staff when needed.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating to FOH Manager where necessary.
- Build rapport with guests, encouraging repeat visits and guest loyalty.
Operational Support
Manage the reservation system, phone lines, emails, and online booking platforms.Maintain an accurate waitlist and manage guest expectations during peak times.Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and FOH team to ensure smooth service transitions.Keep the front entrance, host stand, and waiting area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.Assist with service support tasks when required (e.g., resetting tables, delivering menus, helping with water service).Team Collaboration
Work closely with the FOH Manager to ensure seating plans are efficient and staff workload is balanced.Communicate effectively with servers and bar staff regarding new arrivals, guest preferences, and special requests.Support the team in maintaining service standards and following SOPs.Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Well-groomed, professional appearance, and friendly demeanor.Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS preferred (training provided).Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Positive, guest-focused attitude with a passion for hospitality.Key Attributes
