This role involves maintaining the integrity of the general ledger by ensuring accurate journal entries, performing monthly and year-end closings, and reconciling accounts across various financial systems. Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing (such as assessing the adequacy of accruals / provisions), and preparation of the monthly and year-end audit schedules and financial reporting packagesLiaise with various departments in the collection of information and documentsProcess internal charge and reclassification requestsProcess miscellaneous receipts and follow up on unaccounted sumsIdentify and perform clearing for offsetting transactions for balance sheet accountsPrepare bank reconciliation and resolve reconciling itemsInvestigate and resolve user's queriesPrepare GST and other statistical submissionsAssist on corporate tax, internal and external audit mattersWork with Grants and Intercompany GL teams to resolve issuesParticipate in process improvement projectsAny other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisorRequirements
At least a Diploma in AccountancyMinimum 3 years of relevant working experience in General Ledger functionHigher qualified / experienced candidates will be considered for the Senior Assistant Executive positionSelf-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPointGood communication skills, able to communicate with various departments and levelsIndependent, meticulous and with positive attitudeNext Step
