Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Oversee the planning and all project operations.
- Manage the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to make sure that the schedule is kept.
- Lead team to manage project operations, schedule, and specifications.
- Manage operational cost to keep cost within the budget.
- Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
- Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance of contract requirements.
- Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.
- Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
- Oversee the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project to meet completion date.
- Provide leadership to the project management and construction team.
- Supervise daily site activities.
Requirements
Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (Degree must be recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore).At least 10 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects for water treatment facility or process plant.Professional project management certification (eg. PMP, CITPM, etc) is preferred.Willingness to travel to project sites.Good communication skills to liaise with the various stakeholders.Hands-on attitude, meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.Able to work under pressure, resourceful and independent with good negotiation skills.Able to work under tight deadlines.Tell employers what skills you have
