Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of Safety & Health (S&H) policies, practices, and procedures across the Company’s operations, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
- Develop, implement, and review Company S&H procedures and programs.
- Monitor new legislation relating to safety and health standards, and facilitate timely updates or changes to Company practices.
- Liaise with relevant authorities (MOM, NEA, PUB, etc.) on all Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) matters.
- Lead and guide location safety personnel on WSH programs, practices, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct incident investigations, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive measures.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness and response plans for Company sites.
- Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control activities.
- Ensure effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001 & ISO 45001).
- Ensure compliance with all legal and other applicable WSH requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture and safe practices across all work activities.
Requirements
Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM.Possession of Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) qualification will be an added advantage.Tell employers what skills you have
