Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise commercial executives in managing major ship repair and upgrading projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender bids to secure repair and conversion work.
- Collaborate with the Ship Repair Manager and Project Supervisor to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, achieving targeted margins.
- Liaise with vessel owners’ representatives for project settlement and invoicing of completed works.
- Source, assess, and negotiate with subcontractors for specialized or complex jobs.
- Review, negotiate, and finalize subcontractor invoices to ensure fair settlement.
Requirements :
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, with at least 6 years of relevant experience, including team management.Strong techno-commercial expertise in ship repair or marine construction.Proven experience in cost estimation and analysis for ship repair projects.Familiarity with subcontracting, procurement, bidding, and tender processes.Interested candidates who wish to apply for the advertised position, please click on the APPLY button below to send in your resume.
