Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise security solutions. The role will focus on F5 platforms, firewalls, and Azure cloud security . The successful candidate will work on-site at a major financial institution in Changi, collaborating closely with NTT and client security teams to strengthen the bank’s cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities

Security Implementation & Management

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain F5 BIG-IP solutions including LTM, WAF / ASM, API Security, and APM.
  • Manage and optimize Cisco Firepower (FTD, FMC) and firewall infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Cloud security controls , including NSG, APIM gateways, and IAM policies.

Security Policy & Optimization

  • Define, implement, and enforce granular security policies across F5, firewalls, and cloud environments.
  • Conduct policy audits, rule base reviews, cleanup, and optimization to maintain a strong security posture.
  • Integrate F5 solutions to ensure secure application delivery and protection against advanced threats.

    • Collaboration & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and configuration guides .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security standards with business and compliance requirements .
  • Provide technical expertise during incident handling, troubleshooting, and change management .

    • Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience : 3–5 years in network security / security engineering roles.

    • Core Technical Expertise :

    F5 BIG-IP (LTM, WAF / ASM, APM, API Security)

    Cisco FTD & FMC (firewall deployment & management)

    Azure Cloud Security (NSG, APIM, IAM)

    Strong understanding of TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP / S, VPN, IDS / IPS, and secure application delivery.

  • Preferred Skills : Familiarity with automation, scripting (Python / PowerShell), and DevSecOps / cloud-native security practices.

    • Certifications (Preferred)

  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • Cisco CCNP Security or equivalent
  • F5 Certified Administrator / F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
  • CISSP, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
