Field Service Engineer

The Role

To maximize customer satisfaction on our service quality and capability, by providing professional field service and consultancy while promoting service products to generate service NIS.

What We Expect From You

On Site : -

• On arrival at customer’s premise inform person-in-charge before any jobs are being carried out, to avoid interruptions in production or any other business interruptions.
• Implement correct working methods, use correct tools and observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Collection of local purchase parts from suppliers for service jobs
• Carry out daily jobs as assigned / instructed by the Supervisor / Manager
• Follow all instructions given in the scope of works as per service work order
• Test run and monitor serviced units, record all readings to ensure units are running at satisfactory conditions
• Write reports of jobs carried out on the service work order or recommend any follow up actions if needed.
• Explain to customer if any follow up or repair jobs are needed
• Maintain cleanliness at compressor room and surrounding area before leaving customer’s premise..

Records / maintenance and feedback : -

• Feedback to supervisor / manager on follow up actions required
• Provide technical and quality feedback to the technical specialist according to customer’s feedback
• Record all time spent in the field, workshop and other activities
• Timely and correct feedback on work orders, weekly report and monthly report;
• Working closely with sales team & project team to satisfy customer;
• Maintain proper PPEs’ being issued, ensure service vehicle is in good and clean condition, upkeep personal tools & equipment and workshop area
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of all workshop equipment or measuring equipment.

Application specific support : -

• Responsible as first line support for all electrical / electronic related troubleshoot and applications
• To develop and acquire in depth product knowledge and skills for ES control systems, Airscan, VSD, motors and other electrical products within AC compressor range.
• To act as Product specialist for ES control system, Airscan & VSD to support the aftersales team
• Continuous development and support function to field technical team on electrical / electronic related matters

To carry out service, repairs, maintenance and overhaul of air compressors and related industrial equipment.
