Job description1-2 years of experience in taxation, customs and finance Professional experience in taxation with Audit / Tax firms preferred Tax Consultancy background preferred A graduate of Business or Accounting is desirable Proficient in Excel
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall tax compliance matters including corporate income tax, withholding tax, etc.
- Prepare / review the annual tax returns and ensure compliance to tax laws and regulations
- Prepare / review the monthly corporate tax provision and tax accounting reporting (ie. deferred tax computation)
- Conduct tax research and assist in identifying tax planning ideas and improvement opportunities
- Liaise with various competent authorities in respect of the tax related queries / issues & audits
- Advise and provide support as and when required on the tax compliance and implication
- Review and advise tax related contract clause including new project tendering, procurement contract and etc.
- Keep abreast on the latest development of new legislation and tax updates and advise for full compliance
- Other ad-hoc duties / tasks to be assigned as and when required.
