Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager with strong expertise in Banking Payments domain application development. The role will be responsible for end-to-end technical delivery of business solutions and system capabilities, ensuring high-quality implementation aligned with enterprise design principles, budgets, and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Plan technical deliverables (including system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project requirements within budget and schedule.
- Collaborate across application teams to manage technical dependencies.
- Monitor and manage risks and issues related to technical delivery.
- Provide status updates on technical delivery.
- Partner with System Analysts and Business Solution Specialists to collate, understand, and finalize functional and technical requirements.
- Partner with Architects and Development Leads to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
- Partner with Development Managers to manage application teams to build enhancements.
- Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance / load testing and application security testing with quality results.
- Coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure non-event production cutover and adequate post-implementation support.
- Develop and maintain documentation adhering to organizational templates, policies, and standards.
- Escalate issues that impact project schedule on a timely basis and propose workarounds / resolutions.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in developing and delivering global / regional IT capabilities for a multi-national / regional company.At least 3 years of leadership experience in managing IT delivery teams.Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders.Experience in banking industry, Banking Payments Domain, Java Spring Boot and microservices is a plus; experience implementing large-scale, highly available applications is a plus.Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery.Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications, and testing experience (in aggregate no less than 8 years).Good understanding and experience in software development cycle.Highly effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Good problem-solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills.Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar domain.Related professional / technical qualifications will be advantageous though not mandatory.Seniority level
