Job descriptionJob Responsibilities
• \tSupport end-to-end execution of large-scale financing transactions (typically US$50M-300M+), including financial modelling, deal structuring, lender/investor engagement, due diligence coordination, documentation, and closing.
• \tDrive equity and debt fundraising processes, including preparation of business plans, information memos, financial models, pitch materials, and data room management.
• \tServe as the primary liaison between Aolani and external investors, banks, legal counsel, financial advisors, and institutional partners.
• \tSupport CEO/GM in all fundraising-related activities, including responding to investor queries, preparing board/IC materials, and drafting transaction documents (term sheets, process letters, etc.).
• \tCollaborate cross-functionally with technical, operations, sales, and legal teams to ensure accurate budgeting, alignment with business plans, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• \tBuild and maintain a strong network with banks, private credit funds, VCs/PEs, institutional investors, and financial intermediaries in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Requirements
• \tBachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related fields.
• \tMinimum 5 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, corporate banking, leveraged finance, corporate development, or similar roles.
• \tProven track record of completing full-cycle equity or debt financing transactions, ideally at US$50M+ scale.
• \tStrong understanding of Southeast Asia financial markets, cross-border capital flows, and financing instruments (senior debt, mezzanine, structured credit, equity).
• \tExcellent analytical skills and advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction structuring.
• \tStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft, negotiate, and refine transaction documents and investor communications.
• \tFluent in English and Chinese, with the ability to prepare materials and communicate professionally in both languages.
• \tAble to manage multiple workstreams independently, work under pressure, and operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• \tSingapore local resident is preferred but not a must.
Preferred Qualifications
• \tExperience in technology infrastructure, data centers, cloud services, AI/ML companies, energy, or large-capex industries.
• \tDirect experience in cross-border fundraising, structured financing, or complex multi-party project transactions.
• \tHands-on experience preparing data rooms, coordinating due diligence, and managing advisors (legal, technical, financial).
• \tPrior exposure to debt structuring (term loans, RCF, mezzanine, second-lien, vendor financing, leasing structures, etc.).
