Roles & Responsibilities

hiring and training staff, managing inventory and supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment, promoting services and products, handling customer complaints, and overseeing daily tasks like opening, closing, and payment processing

Staff Management & Development

  • Hiring and Training : Recruit, hire, and train salon staff to ensure a skilled and professional team.
  • Scheduling : Create work schedules, assign tasks, and manage staff rosters, considering peak times and client appointments.
  • Performance Management : Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, resolve conflicts, and manage disciplinary actions if necessary.
  • Team Leadership : Foster a positive and productive work environment, motivating the team and acting as a role model.

Operations & Administration

  • Daily Oversight : Manage daily salon operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Inventory & Supplies : Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to ensure necessary products and equipment are available.
  • Maintenance : Ensure the salon is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Financial Management : Handle basic bookkeeping, process payments, monitor financial transactions, and contribute to business budget management.
  • Client & Customer Service

  • Client Satisfaction : Ensure exceptional customer service, manage client feedback, and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Client Experience : Create a welcoming environment and ensure clients have a positive and memorable experience.
  • Appointment Management : Oversee the scheduling and flow of client appointments to keep the salon running efficiently.
  • Sales & Marketing

  • Product & Service Promotion : Promote salon services, packages, and retail products to increase sales.
  • Marketing Strategies : Develop and implement marketing activities, including social media, to attract new clients and build customer loyalty.
  • Sales Targets : Set and monitor sales targets for services and products, aiming to achieve business goals.
