Who are we looking for?
The incumbent for this position will perform receiving, in-process and outgoing inspection as well as analyze results using statistical techniques for any trend violation.
What will you be doing?
- Perform acceptance test on receiving material, in- process intermediates and Finished Goods
- Analyzing customer RTV/in house retain samples to support customer complaints investigation and or process troubleshooting
- Support QC measurements for engineering studies, product scale up and Technology transfer
- Review SPC trend and highlight any trend abnormality to production engineering
- Issue Production Batch Ticket to production via JDE ARS system
- Advise on rework procedure to Production
- Conduct Calibration and Maintenance of Laboratory equipment
- Conduct periodic Measurement System Analysis
- Liaise with vendor on Maintenance, Calibration, Troubleshooting and of Lab equipment
- Generate monthly SPC report for customers
- Generate COA (LIMS)a
- Generate Monthly scrap report
- Internal Auditor for Management system (QMS/EMS/OHSAS)
- Ensure good housekeeping of the laboratory at all times
- Any other tasks as and when assigned.
- Able to perform overtime when required
Who are You?
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Chemistry with 1-2 years experience.
- Preferably worked in a chemistry lab environment, familiar with processing chemical samples.
- Ability to operate analytical instruments with minimal supervision.
- Able to perform overtime when required.
What competencies will you need?
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees within the organization.
- Self-motivated and collaborative attitude
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for details
