Job descriptionRegistered Optician with OOB (Pre-registered candidates are welcome!) Possess at least Nitec in Opticianry. Prior experience in optical retail is advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and customer-focused attitude. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive eye check-ups for customers.
- Perform vision refraction for customers aged eight years and above.
- Interpret and explain optical prescriptions accurately.
- Edge lenses according to prescribed specifications.
- Dispense and adjust spectacle frames to ensure proper fit and comfort.
- Follow up on customer appointments and maintain accurate records.
- Provide professional advice and optical consultation on suitable spectacles and lenses.
- Manage daily shop operations including retail sales and customer service.
- Handle inventory control and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
