He / She shall report to the General Manager or Deputy General Manager (Administration Division) and shall have the responsibilities to :
- Support supervising all functions of the Administration Division (HR, General Affairs, Accounting, IT).
- Develop and carry out the HR strategy in accordance with the expansion of business and organization, including branch offices located globally, reflecting discussions with stakeholders, especially including the Tokyo headquarters office and Japanese-related parties.
- Introduce and enlighten the guidance about the company’s management from the Tokyo headquarters office.
- Plan and implement a new workflow to improve the accounting process.
- Plan and implement a new legal and compliance framework.
- Administration of welfare / insurance / salary for office staff.
- Consider employment regulation in accordance in consultation with Company’s management and other division heads.
- Coordination of the company’s annual budgets and other operating costs, including capital costs.
- Prepare and monitor the office annual budget, including branch offices.
- Manage and optimize office expenses.
- Arrange contracts and agreements with ship management companies and other organizations related to the company's business.
- Notify all concerned departments and parties about the contracts, agreements, and their salient features.
- Coordinate with the Tokyo headquarters regarding the certificates related to insurance.
- Review contracts and confirm compliance
Job Requirements :
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline.Fluency in Japanese (native-level) is required to effectively communicate with Japanese clients and affiliated parties.Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the shipping industry, particularly in areas related to LNG carrier and FSRU operations.Previous onboard experience - an extended stay of several months - with a clear understanding of vessel living and working conditions.Solid understanding of ship management company operations, vessel operational expenses, and accounting practices.Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements with external organizations, such as ship management companies and business partners.Skills & Competencies
Strong ability to communicate key contract terms and ensure alignment with internal stakeholders.Proficiency in preparing and managing budgets, including variance analysis and cost optimization.Familiarity with legal and compliance frameworks relevant to international business operations.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Personal Attributes
