About the job
Reporting to the CFO, you will be the key finance person responsible for overseeing statutory, tax, trade, and business licence compliance matters across the regional subsidiaries. You will be involved in coordinating the preparation and filing of annual tax returns, managing tax audits with external consultants, and ensuring that all financial and tax reporting requirements are met. You will handle correspondence with tax authorities, keep transfer pricing and service fee agreements up-to-date, and review operating margin forecasts to ensure timely adjustments. Additionally, you will be looked to prepare for BEPS compliance, monitoring tax incentive schemes, managing legal entity structures for risk mitigation, and providing informed advice on tax and legal implications of cross-border agreements. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams and external consultants to address tax issues and streamline processes, with an openness to taking on expanded compliance responsibilities.
