    • Responsibilities

  • You will oversee design management for major civil infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence, constructability, and compliance with local standards.
  • Ensure design outputs comply with regulations, safety standards, and engineering codes.
  • Evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications for feasibility, risks, and constructability.
  • Develop and review construction methodologies and technical proposals to enhance bid competitiveness.
  • Oversee method statements and technical submissions for regulatory compliance.
  • Provide leadership in the design of roadworks, drainage, earthworks, and related civil works.
  • Approve and sign off design deliverables with focus on constructability and value engineering.
  • Coordinate across QS, planning, BIM, and procurement teams to align technical strategies.
  • Engage subcontractors and suppliers to evaluate alternative solutions and drive design efficiencies.
  • Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to assess project constraints and identify risks.
  • Supervise the integration of BIM and planning tools (Civil 3D, Primavera, MS Project).
  • Review and approve technical submissions, C&S shop drawings, and material selections.
  • Represent the design team in meetings with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Ensure design compliance with Singapore codes and international best practices.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
  • 10 years’ experience in civil infrastructure design.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s design codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Track record in large-scale civil / infrastructure projects, ideally with LTA projects experiences.
