Job description

Our Quality & Risk Management Department disseminatestimely and relevant information on developments in legislation andregulations; and executes initiatives to manage our risk in achallenging environment. The individual will be part of EngagementAcceptance team responsible for ensuring compliance with client andengagement acceptance and continuance policies and procedures. Inaddition, this team maintains multiple risk systems acrossSingapore, Brunei and Indonesia, timely implement systems controlsand rules to meet both global and local regulatory requirements,communicate changes in policies and procedures surrounding clientand engagement procedures.

Therole involves :

  • Be partof the Risk Management team servicing internalstakeholders.
  • Be familiar with the KPMG Globalrisk management requirements and administer the processes requiredto maintain compliance.
  • Supportsorganizational compliance in the client and engagement on-boardingprocess.
  • Be familiar with the organizationdata architecture, perform data-mining, establishing a firmunderstanding of the different business processes and monitor riskcontrols.
  • Maintain, monitor / update riskmanagement systems and platforms.
  • Executecontrols & monitoring procedures.
  • Supportenhancement and streamlining of risk procedures, apply innovativetechniques enabling technology and automation solutions to increaseefficiencies in business processes.
  • Overseeand lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring deliveryon time, within budget and according tospecifications

Theideal candidate should possess :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or arelated field.
  • At least 6 years of experiencein risk management, compliance, audit (external / internal) or asimilar role, preferably within a professional servicesfirm.
  • Ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick-witted, patient and conscientious
  • Good interpersonal and team working skills
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite ofprogrammes
