Resident Engineer

Job

Description : To

monitor and report on the progress of works

To

ensure that records of all civil and structural engineering works,

including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work

progress, material and equipment on site, safety, etc, are timely

updated and properly kept

To ensure that the

building and its related works are constructed in accordance with

Drawings and Specifications and the Building Control Act and

Regulations

To carry out checks on striking of

formwork, re-props and removal of prop

To

resolve contractor's queries and coordinate the works of the main

contractor and other contractors on

site

Requirements

Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a RE. of

which at least three (3) years shall be in supervision of works

similar in nature to major construction works listed in the Project

Brief such as in buildings, civil pavement works

Degree C&S Engineering from a University accredited

by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore;

Trained and possessed knowledge of Workplace Safety and

Health Act (WSHA)

Competence in Microsoft

Project, Words, Excel and PowerPoint and / or AutoCAD

Preferably Possess a valid Class 3 (preferably manual

gear) Singapore state driving license
