Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to banking products and services.
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and other documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Lead requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and design sessions.
  • Analyze existing processes and systems, identify gaps, and propose enhancements or new solutions.
  • Support product managers and project managers in defining scope, prioritizing features, and planning releases.
  • Assist QA teams with test planning, execution support, and UAT coordination.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the banking sector.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in one or more areas such as core banking, retail / commercial banking, digital channels, or risk & compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 5 years in the banking or financial services domain.
  • Strong understanding of core banking systems, digital banking, lending, payments, KYC / AML, and regulatory reporting.
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and BPM tools .
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
