Part-Time / Ad-Hoc Printing Machine Operator (on-Call)

Description

Job Description We are looking for a dependable and skilled part-time / ad-hoc Printing Machine Operator to support our production team only when required, such as when our full-time operator is on medical leave or during peak production periods. This is a standby / on-call role. Candidates should be able to report to work on short notice and perform independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities - Operate and maintain digital printing machines - Operate post-press finishing equipment, including : - Trimming machine - Scoreline machine - Wire-O binding, Spiral coil binding, Plastic comb binding - Saddle-stitching - Lamination - Prepare materials and setup jobs for production - Perform basic troubleshooting and monitor print quality - Ensure jobs meet quality standards and deadlines - Maintain a safe and clean work environment Requirements - Hands‑on experience with digital print & finishing equipment - Familiarity with print production workflow - Physically fit, able to handle machine‑based repetitive tasks - Responsible, reliable, and detail‑oriented - Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / InDesign is a plus - Able to commit on short notice (standby basis) - Singaporeans / PRs preferred. Work pass holders must be legally eligible for part-time work a. Salary Range SGD 12 – 16 per hour, depending on experience and task type b. Job Type Part‑Time / Ad‑Hoc (Standby Basis) Only required when full‑time staff is on MC or during urgent production jobs c. Work Arrangement - No flexible arrangement - Work location : Multiple sites within Singapore (based on project needs) d.
