Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Translate functional requirements into robust mechanical design concepts and specifications.
  • Develop and refine 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation to support product development and lifecycle management.
  • Conduct design validation through simulations (thermal, vibration, force analysis) and physical testing to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design efficiency, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, process engineering, and global R&D to ensure seamless product integration.
  • Support regulatory compliance and documentation in alignment with international standards.
  • Participate in material selection and design reviews to ensure compatibility with advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support for product enhancements, failure analysis, and customer feedback resolution.

Requirements

  • Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in mechanical design, within manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Pro-E, or AutoCAD).
  • Strong foundation in design theory, and manufacturing technologies (e.g., plastic molding, sheet metal, tooling).
  • Experience with simulation tools and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
  • Team player, self-driven, and willingness to learn.
