Job Description :
1. Technology Infrastructure Strategy & Design
- Responsible for the design, development and implementation of banking technology
infrastructure and product platforms, which shall be aligned with the company's business
strategy and goals and scalable, secure and compliant with industry regulation and
standards;Identify, evaluate and select the appropriatetechnology solution vendors and partners, ensuring that the company's technology infrastructure is scalable, secure and compliant with industry regulation and standards;Review, identify, evaluate, select and implement new technologies that could driveinnovation, efficiency and enhance customer experience;Strategize and propose products and solutions relevant to the bank including withoutlimitation payment and other financial solutions that facilitate cross border trade and
asset management;Advise the CEO and Board on the structuring and building up of technology assets for thecompany, in accordance to industry best practices, in order to maximise valuation and
shareholder return;
2. Technology Implementation and Engineering
Translate product roadmap and strategy into an engineering plan of execution, ensuring thatthe engineering and development teams meet objectives according to timeline ;Advise the CEO and Board on feasibility, best approaches and potential roadblocks, takinginto consideration future developments and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee and monitor the company’s system performance and reliability, while implementing pre-emptive and responsive measures to address issues and minimizedowntime;Establish and maintain robust technology, cybersecurity and information securitypolicies, protocols and practice to safeguard the data and operability of the company;Develop comprehensive risk management framework to address all technology-relatedrisks;
3. Technology Personnel Management & Thought Leadership
Recruit and manage technology and engineering teams, fostering a culture of high-performance, responsibility and innovation;Ensure the technology and engineering teams are able to work cross-functionally with otherteams (eg. With compliance, risk and business) ;Represent the company at discussions with regulators and government bodies ontechnology , governance and compliance;Represent the company at external events and publicity around topics of banking innovation,technology and security, providing thought leadership and projecting the Company’s
strengths.
Job Requirements :
10+ years’ experience in technology leadership, with a strong background in technology infrastructure / engineering and product development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in banking or financial services.Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field;Strong expertise in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.Demonstrated leadership in building and managing high-performance technology teams and working cross-functionally.Excellent communication skills with ability to advise C-suite / Board and represent the company to regulators and industry forums.Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability and a balance of innovation and compliance.Tell employers what skills you have
