J Responsibilities
- Ceramics tutoring & class designing
- Plan exhibitions and events including artist workshop;
- Kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces;
- Design and produce AIA ceramic product for retails purposes;
- Sets up, cleans, and demonstrates the use of equipment and instruments;
- Maintains inventories, orders supplies in accordance with purchasing procedures;
- Monitor and ensure a clean and safe working environment, with regular upkeep of work area, equipment, supplies, and materials;
- Any other assigned ad-hoc duties.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates with at least a diploma or degree in 3D art-related qualifications, especially potteryPossess intermediate knowledge of ceramics (throwing, trimming, and glazing)Able to make sake sets and teapot setsExperience with teaching ceramics will be an absolute advantagePassionate about working in the ceramics industryResponsible and well-organizedGood communication skills and enjoy interacting with customersA team playerWilling to work over the weekends and public holidaysMeticulous, good organizational and documentation skillsTell employers what skills you have
