Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated SCADA & Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with SCADA software, PLC programming, and industrial communication protocols, and will be adept at system integration, deployment, and ongoing support. The candidate will work closely with plant managers, engineering department, control system engineers, process engineers, and field technicians to develop and implement SCADA Systems.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop SCADA / HMI applications using AVEVA Wonderware System Platform and Wonderware InTouch for waste treatment and incineration plants.
- Install and configure AVEVA System Platform components in a redundant environment, including ArchestrA IDE, Galaxy Repository, InTouch HMI, ArchestrA Object Server (AOS), Historian, Communication Drivers, System Management Console, and License Manager.
- Configure real-time data acquisition, trending, alarms, reports, and historical data logging.
- Configure and manage industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA / DA, PROFINET, EtherNet / IP, MelsecNet, and others to ensure reliable real-time data exchange.
- Establish seamless communication between SCADA systems and various field devices, including PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, sensors, Continuous Emissions Monitoring System
- and other field instruments.
- Familiarity with PLCs programming software Control Expert, STEP 7 v5.x software and GX Developer, working with Schneider Modicon series PLCs (M340, M580), Siemens PLCs (S7-300, S7-400), and Mitsubishi MELSEC Q Series PLCs.
- Familiar with key industrial software applications such as Continuous Emissions Monitoring System, KEPServerEX OPC Server, Dream Report, and WIN-911.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of both hardware and software components.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (I / O lists, tag databases, wiring diagrams, SOPs).
- Collaborate effectively with vendors, project engineers, automation and control engineers, process engineers and field technicians during system installation and commissioning.
- Provide technical expertise and consultancy support during tendering and project development phases.
- Ensure cybersecurity, data integrity, and overall system reliability.
- Deliver remote or on-site technical support as needed.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.Minimum of 6 years hands-on experience in SCADA programming and industrial automation.Proven experience with SCADA platforms such as AVEVA / Wonderware System Platform.Familiarity with PLC systems from Schneider Electric and Siemens.Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols including Modbus, OPC UA / DA, PROFINET, Ethernet / IP, and MelsecNet.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Solid understanding of industrial processes and control systems.Experience in water / wastewater, power, manufacturing, or oil & gas sectors.Awareness of cybersecurity best practices for SCADA / OT environments.Experience with Industrial IoT platforms or cloud integration technologies.Remuneration :
Basic salary : $4,000 / - - $4,500 / -Working hours : Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm)Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if candidate possess own transportTell employers what skills you have
